Removal of cork showed us a tiny hiss of escaping air. Bubbles were present on initial pour though within 1 minute the wine was still in the glass. A golden, touch tawny colouring though clear. Dark honey, dried yellow stone fruits, prunes in syrup, soft coffee / cocoa, sponge cake with cognac aromas. Very persistent. Flavours show prune, saline, dried apricot, toast, citrus.
