Aroma - "Finely aged notes of delicate caramel, toffee, pastry, brioche and croissants, (with unfortunate notes of slight oxidization over the years)."
Flavour - "Rich oak chips, oak barrels, well baked pastries, burnt toast, well aged prunes in dried syrup, green apples and white floral, along with a touch of yellow stone fruits."
Tasted at Champagne Route in London, during a 50+ year vintage Champagne tasting hosted by Christopher Walkey - Champagne Collectors.
